Cathy Vega's handicap makes her an especially vulnerable heroine. One struggles with her as she attempt to escape from various unsavory situations. The many intertwined story lines keep you guessing. This book also gives you a glimpse of the inner workings of horse racing tracks. I hope this author will give us more books featuring Cathy Vega. I didn't spot the villian until the end.
I HAVE VISITED CHURCH DOWNS AND THE AUTHOR MAKES ME REMEMBER THE VISIT AND THEN COMES THE MYSTERY OF THE MURDERS. YOU BEGIN TO FIGURE THE KILLER IS GOING TO GET CAUGHT. THEN MORE MYSTERY, AND MY SOLUTION WAS WRONG. GREAT BOOK
